    Happy Gotcha Day!!!

Happy Gotcha Day!!! Growing up I never had a dog, only fish, so you can imagine all of the thoughts that filled my head when Michael & I got engaged. He had Daulton and Teddy who were the sweetest dogs. I had no experience with dogs. I was worried what if I didn't know what to do as a doggy mommy. I look back now and think how silly, I was born for the job. Teddy passed away shortly after we were married and Daulton aka Diggy D became my bestie. He helped me through the worst

    Thank You!

Ah, finally winding down from our Pawtastic Friends Fundraiser animal rescue event with just a few auction prizes left to collect. So much hard work by so many from different walks of the community made this event so successful! Thirty dogs were sponsored for the Pawtastic Friends Enrichment Training. Thanks to all of you! These dogs have an opportunity and hope for a bright future. Since the program's inception in October 2016, the 18th dog has now been adopted (June). Tog

Celebrating America's Birthday with our Furbabies!

The 4th of July is a beautiful day to celebrate America. However, it's a very scary, stressful day for our four legged friends. Although fireworks are beautiful, the sound is very traumatic for some pets. Here are a few tips to get through the holiday. 1. Keep pets inside. Make sure all gates are securely locked outside. 2. Make an area for them where they feel secure & safe. I make a little fort of blankets for Brigitte. 3. Put the TV or radio on to help lesson the fireworks
