As Thanksgiving quickly approaches, it's important to take a moment and appreciate all that surrounds us. This past Sunday, Pawtastic Friends had the opportunity to volunteer for the Rock N Roll Marathon handing out water to the runners. It was such a great experience, very heart warming. We had our team working together getting water station 13 ready at the 18 mile mark. We worked together to fill hundreds of cups for the runners, laughing and having fun. I think as that first runner came by we were all overcome by emotion, then another and another. People from all walks of life
We wanted to give a shout out to Nostalgia Street Rods for inviting Pawtastic Friends to be a community partner for their AWESOME car show this past Saturday. The Enrichment Scholarship Project is making the difference for so many shelter and rescue dogs in boarding. It's an opportunity for them to indulge in a few hours of training or swim..... simply stated to just be a dog. They work on agility, leash skills, commands and manners. Older dogs or those with mobility issues swim and the warm water soothes their muscles. When we see the pictures and read the report cards we are overcome with emotion. To see their smiles, and to rea
