Pawtastic Friends AMAZING news

Hoping all of you are doing well in these uncertain times. Although things have been difficult for all of us adjusting to a new normal, we have some wonderful news to brighten your spirits and make you smile. We had our first Trick Dog Class with our partners, Michael's Angel Paws, adding another platform for our amazing scholars to shine. Four amazing students worked hard for a series of 5 classes, learning a variety of tricks. On the final class, two of the four (Major & Melonie) were tested not only for the Novice Trick Dog Title, but also the Canine Good Citizen and passed both with confidence and ease. As they were presented their certificates and ribbons, I felt my eyes fill with happy tears. They posed for the camera with huge smiles, so proud of their accomplishments. Rescue dogs are not broken, they can overcome hardships, and do anything with their perseverance, hope, and heart. We are so proud of Major & Melonie..... the first Pawtastic Friends scholars to achieve these honors. Special thanks to Jason from Michael's Angel Paws & the amazing, dedicated volunteers who give their time each week and make it all possible.
