Changing Lives.... one swim at a time.

Together we can beat the odds. We would like to showcase our amazing partner Canine Bodywork and Aquatics. Kathy Carr is a wonderful person with immeasurable talent and a heart of gold. She brings comfort and her love of water to our aquatic scholars. She provides a great workout for the body and mind, while rejuvenating their spirits with her loving energy.  Last Friday, she held the 2nd annual Canine Bodywork and Aquatics Swimathon raising money for Paws for Change to fight canine cancer. Swimmers of all sizes, ages, and breeds came together to share their skills in support, including some of our rescue scholars. The joy on all the participants and their cheerleaders' faces were heartwarming. There were sponsors, raffles, and volunteers.... it was a good time for all.  We often hear about sadness, but this is a true example of how one amazing woman brought a community together through her love of water to fight canine cancer.  Thank you Kathy for enriching the lives of so many.  Lots of love  Melissa, Michael  and all of your Pawtastic Friends
